I started my first business in 2013 after quitting a toxic job and eight months unemployed. It was time to begin that entrepreneurial dream, even if I wasn’t ready.
Those first three years were the most chaotic and emotionally draining of my life!
I seriously had no idea what I was in for when I launched my first business. It was also an isolating time because no one I knew was an entrepreneur and everyone online seemed like they were thriving while I was rushing to learn basic skills in funnels, photography and wordpress.
What I wish I knew then is that EVERYONE struggles in the first few years. It’s a sloppy, messy journey building a business or NGO. The problem is most people don’t talk about it. We don’t hear about bad business ideas, investments that didn’t pay off or second jobs needed to make ends meet.
Her First 3 Years is a community built around the truth of entrepreneurship. We share the 90% of the journey that failed before finding the 10% success. We also share the unique obstacles that we all face as women in this space. Here you can learn, grow and feel supported.
